Yeah, I know I blogged about this before, but this is just such a great event that I don’t want you to forget. After all, how many wedding shows are in the Fall?

Besides, Wedding Shows are fun, sparkly events that get brides-to-be all excited and happy and grooms-to-be tend to come along and shrug their shoulders. (I speak from experience here!)

The first ever, to be annual, Autumn Wedding Show in Auburn, WA will be held at Emerald Downs, starting Saturday, October 3, and extending through Sunday, October 4th. So here’s the reminder and a link to the original post! Do come and visit. It’ll be fun! (and I know you want to sample cake! Yummm!)

I’ll be there Friday morning bright and early helping vendors set up and generally getting in the way.

The first annual Auburn Autumn Wedding Show, will be held at Emerald Downs on October 2nd and 3rd.

More than just gowns, the Auburn Wedding Show will offer guidance and vendors to help you choose after wedding apparel, beverages for the reception, cakes (of course!), catering services, banquet locations, travel planners, and so so much more!

Starting at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, you can visit the exhibit halls, on both the 3rd and 4th floor. And the fashion show!!! Starts at 1pm each day.

Valley Cities Landing is a 24-unit studio apartment complex designed and implemented through the cooperative efforts of the State of Washington, King County, the City of Auburn, and Valley Cities Counseling services.

Located at 2516 I Street NE, the facility is absolutely beautiful! Including the central community center with laundry facilities, each of the units contains a full kitchen and bath and combined sleeping and living area–just like any other well-designed studio apartment. The units are fully furnished — right down to soap in the bathrooms, utensils in the kitchen, and blankets and sheets on the bed. Even nicer, each of the units has either a small courtyard or balcony, complete with a patio table and chairs. Some of the units are set up specifically for disabled access, with kitchens and bathrooms carefully designed for individuals confined to wheelchairs.

Valley Cities Landing is specifically designed to assist veterans and homeless persons that are currently receiving counseling services through Valley Cities. Here they will continue to receive supportive services while living on their own, preparing their own meals, maintaining their apartments and paying a portion of their rent.

SO much fun! At yesterday’s Ribbon Cutting event for Becky’s Glamour, my Ambassador duties for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce got caught up in looking at the sparkly, glitzy, diamondy clothing custom decorated by the staff at Becky’s Glamour!

Located inside the SuperMall of the Great Northwest, in Suite 1114 (near Old Navy), Rebecca “Becky” and Jenny and the rest of the helpful staff help design and add sparkly little decorations to virtually any clothing item — hats, jeans, t’shirts, belts. Whatever. How much fun is THAT?!!

Now, I know I’ve missed the names of everyone there, but next time you visit the Mall, be sure to pop in and say ‘Hi’ to Becky and crowd … and order a shirt or two. Now that I think on it, maybe it’d be fun to add some glitz to the ankle of my favorite boots. Wonder if they can do that …..
